Possible Gungame 2.13 Beta 4 Issue

The suicide penalty option does not work.

Was working fine with Gungame 2.12

Stopped working after I switched to 2.13 Beta 4

I have checked the config (gungame.cfg) for the suicide and worldspawn penalty flags..both are 1 and tried after disabling them also.
I have tested it in both normal and teamplay mode.. No loss of levels or points..
It simply does not work

don't use beta 4 the beast one of gungame is 2.12

1) it is "best", not "beast"
2) noone asked for your opinion, it is useless here
3) it is your decision to run outdated plugins on your outdated, as well as illegal servers.

However i can confirm the bug now with gg2.13b4
suicide penalty just don't work.

Wow, for some reason I can't reproduce this. Could you guys please post your gungame.cfg and tell me exactly how you are able to reproduce the bug? e.g. how many players in server, what method of suicide, etc. Does it show the "lost a level for suicide" message but not actually level you down, or does it not even display that message?

I have this problem on occasion. An example would be when the player falls from the top of the house on the map cs_militia.

Thanks nsb. Could you please also post your gungame.cfg? Is there anything else you can tell me about when this happens (e.g. how many players in server, do you know if the players see the "lost a level for suicide" message or not)?

My server has 31 slots and most of the day is full, I spent a PM with my cfg.

Depending on the suicide, the punishment works properly, more if you hit it from high places on purpose, you have no punishment.

nsb-- thanks, I got your PM. It looks like you have gg_worldspawn_suicide set to 0, so I imagine that's the cause in your case. Was there a specific reason why you had set it to 0? If not, gg_worldspawn_suicide 1 should (hopefully) fix it.

I put this variable to 0 to prevent thinking about suicide as a punishment if the player has a death spawned by a defect map.
