Source MM install help

It just doesnt want to work for me, im on a windows box,

heres what my files look like
inside
cstrike/addons/metamod/
is metamod.ini
cstrike/addons/metamod/ bin/
is the server.dll

the changed part in the gamefile.txt located in cstrike/ looks like

nothing happens when i type meta in the remote console

i have a linux dedicated source box 64 bit and i cant get meta mod to work, can it work with a linux 64 bit server?

If you are using a listen server, Steam overwrites the file when you start the game. You must start the game without using Steam.

Make the changes to GameInfo.txt and rename it to GameInfo.txt.mms

Then make a bat file and paste this into it:

cd "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\USERNAME\counter-strike source\cstrike"
copy GameInfo.txt.mms GameInfo.txt
cd ..
hl2.exe -console -window -game cstrike +maxplayers 12 +map de_dust

Of course, edit USERNAME and any of the command line parameters.

Then run CSS by double clicking on the bat file when you want to use a listen server with metamod:source.
