This can be done, and it's not really a bad idea itself. Actually I am propably gonna implement this tool to be used in-game for the advanced version of this plugin.

Example:

say checklog 20080721

Read logs from that date in a MOTD window

say checklog <username>

Read logs made by this user


...etc.
This is what I want the advanced version of this plugin to feature, where as the lite version simply writes and reads from a single log file. Of course, the advanced version will feature advanced logging methods, aswell as the plugin name will prolly change to "In-Game Notes + Log Viewer" or something of that sort.
