Is it possible to run 12 servers for one game, on one installation?
I don't have the time to maintain 12 different installations, nor update all 12 servers when an update comes out.

Is this possible? I have a machine capable of running 12 servers at once, but all i need is to limit them to one installation.

Maybe it's possible with folder hardlinks on NTFS? And what about Linux?

You can run from one Source dedicated server installation multiple servers (forked servers called, I think) same game mod.

Just make another launch bat file or what you are using. You can also change default server.cfg to another
in launch parameters +servercfgfile "server2.cfg"

Yea now i remember. However i read somewhere that forked servers are bad, is it true?

Example some addons and mods can't separate to on specific server, it would run each server.

But sourcemod can separate.

Well i wonder if it's possible to host confogl on them, with different hostnames (with server number) on each config.

Is it possible to run each server with different addons and cfg folder?
