I wonder about one more thing; would it be too complicated to add a Cvar referring to BOTs ("1" - BOTs are dropping ammo, "0" - BOTs don't drop ammo)?

alright - I got it to work... almost 100% done...

Right now, if you "drop" your weapon, it will drop the appropriate model (pistol, shotty, or other) and the correct amount of ammo will be retained. Also, just because you have a rifle that uses the same ammo type as pistol doesn't mean you can pick up that ammo - ammo is dropped as pistol ammo or rifle ammo.

When a player is killed, for some reason, the method I'm using only drops one weapon's ammo (usually primary weapon if they have it)... I'll be working on that

I don't think it has anything to do with how I'm doing anything - it's the way it works with CS:S... if a player dies and they have an AK47 and a glock, only the AK47 is dropped. The glock doesn't drop - it only drops if they do not have a weapon in slot 0 (primary)... I'll see if I can come up with something.

Either way, here's a screenshot of the different models being dropped for the different types of weapons:

Hmm, I didn't even think about dropping secondary ammo, while a player has a primary weapon, maybe just leave it, as it is, unless You really want to do that this way ;]

BTW
Weapons with unique type of ammo are working too? I mean, when player with i.e. AK47 wants to pick up AK47's ammo box.

yes... if a player drops an AK47, an ammo box is spawned with AK47 type ammo tagged as rifle ammo... so only another player with an AK47 can pick up that ammo....

I ran into a snag that I'll have to address tomorrow maybe.... got too busy playing BF3 today The snag is if a player has a .45 pistol and an SMG that takes .45 ammo, it increases both ammo amounts - should be an easy fix, but still a fix that must happen before I post it

Will there be a way to push those ammo box models arround with turbophysics without players blocking on them (as it is with grenades i.e.)?

right now they are no block but still pushable, with the "use" key

i havent tried throwing a nade near them to see if they get blown back or not

is that what you're talking about??

Nah, I meant no block + pushable models only. Probably they will react on grenade's explosion already, but it's not so important I think.
