Some people have been manually adjusting
cl_forwardspeed
cl_backspeed
cl_sidespeed

on my servar and w/ accelerator and kenshin they manage to increase speed.

Or so I've been told.

Just to be safe I'm adding that to my command blocker, with the result of "you type that and you clearpowers and die" .

HLGuard has cvar blocking / checking

I think it has to do with flash/beast setting the maxspeed to 900 or w/e. It allows clients to set their cl_forwardspeed etc to much faster than intended. It is a problem on my server and im not sure what to do.

I have hlguard but im not sure how i would set the cvar. Users are setting it to more than just one rate... Fodder for your next release.

my next release??? there is nothing I can do about it.

It could have something to do with the sv_maxspeed being set higher, although the HLDS default is 900 anyway..... but the server.cfg default is 320. This plugin will increase it to whatever it needs to so the fastest hero will work correctly.

Use the HLGuard cvar checking and read thier docs on www.unitedadmins.com
