Sourcemod 1.7 returns unknown command

So SM 1.7 5306-5312 isn't working, windows version. When issuing command !admin or commands via console it returns unknown command.

Any particular reason you're using an older version?

What happens if you type sm version into the console? If it still says unknown command, then you've not installed it correctly most likely.

Most plugins won't work with SM 1.8. I still get unknown command. I upload it via ftp, the same way I did with 1.8 and 2.8 works. Perhaps there are some files missing from the past builds?

Which plugins are not working? I think "most" seems a bit over the top?

I meant to say plugins I've tested (which are many) don't work correctly or don't work period in 1.8. Hosties is one of them, it needs 1.7.

Any ideas on SM 1.7 not working?

If you're sure SM itself is loaded and working, then you should be asking the plugin authors.
