No, but it's not his server (as stated above), so it is a form of distribution.

This discussion has become pointless. No matter the legality of his implementation or the perceived need for a method to protect the plugin, it won't work. All methods can easily be bypassed. End of story.

@smiley92 I have a suggestion you can lock your plugin by the hostname. I know this method can be bypass easily but what to say is nobody change the hostname for just using a plugin.

I disagree. Protect your plugin from disassembling, use private/public key for licencing and you are well protected from rest of 99% people who are somehow involved in scripting.

You can't protect it from disassembling 100%, even if you do (-d0). There still a tips & tricks using hex editor, a friend show me that. i don't remember how, but its possible.
