I thought this was a possiblity but I just can't see how it is in this case, if it works for everyone but yourself, how could it be a HUD problem in HL?

I don't know, maybe I'm egging on something that really isn't too important but still, I believe it's a fixable bug and could you at least look at the code for me to make me feel a little better

Honestly though it doesn't matter to me if it's fixed because I could care less.

As they said, it could be an issue with the HUD in respect to the act of you being in the console.
There's no code that explicitly says "Oh, there's more than four questions. Let's clear the screen" (in fact I don't even know how to clear the HUD).

that's really just a problem that came up with steam.
i have to say that i hate the steam console.
the old HL drop down/up console was great, it didn't care for caps
and you haven't had any problems with votes or tsays/csays showing up.

valve really fucked the console up
