After I downloaded csgo server (app 740) with steamcmd on my linux server, I archived the directory, put it in gamecp installs and created a dedicated server. Before this update, the server was working perfect.

After update, when I'm trying to start a server with gamecp, I get this:

szCmd: /bin/sh -c '"/home/luxor/.steam/root/steam.sh" steam://run/215 -console -usercon +ip 84.247.54.213 -port 27015 -game csgo +game_type 0 +game_mode 0 +mapgroup mg_bomb +map de_dust -maxplayers_override 24 -tickrate 64 +exec server.cfg -condebug' &
serverGameDLL->DLLInit() failed.

./srcds_run: line 318: 18063 Segmentation fault$HL_CMD
Add "-debug" to the ./srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem
Fri Jan 24 19:00:51 EET 2014: Server restart in 10 seconds
/bin/sh: /home/luxor/.steam/root/steam.sh: No such file or directory

Any ideeas ?

Same here, CentOS6.
Removed MM/SM as precaution, still get the same segfault.

Update: Fix is to restore the steam_appid.txt in the same folder as srcds_run. Seems steamcmd decided to delete it.

just create the .txt file with contents '730' and your server will start properly again.

(Edit: Corrected APPID)

Uh... why is steam://run/215 in that command line?

csgo's srcds_run segfaults and I expect it tries to launch steam in an attempt to see if there are updates prior to launching again.

I have it to the point where the server launches but can't connect, the server reports ' Client connected with ticket for the wrong game'.

Anyone else have this? If not it means it's related to my setup.

Edit: disregard, caused by bad info in the CSGO mailing list. You need to use appid 730, not 740.

same problem here....

but i dont really understand how 2 fix this.

if i understood you right, all i need to do is to create the steam_appid.txt manually
and fill the csgo appid (740) in it, right?

It worked, thanks man. I used 740 and the server is Up and running.

You need to use 730 or people won't be able to connect to your server. (They'll get errors about the steam auth validation being rejected)

I have the same problem.

Today, i download a CS:GO Dedicated server, and when I'm trying to start a server, get this:

serverGameDLL->DLLInit() failed.

This is my start.bat file: D:/Hry/csgoserver/srcds.exe -game csgo +map de_dust +maxplayers 20 -autoupdate

And this is server table: http://i42.tinypic.com/sy07md.png

If i click on Start Server, I´m give a problem.
