Does anyone by any chance still have 1.5 archived somewhere? I need to burn it to a cd and send it to my brother whos in iraq. Since they dont have net there and rather not deal with steam he asked for 1.5.

Yea, he does. But you need a Half-Life CD. A pre-Steam one at that.
