This is based on CheesyPeteza's AFK kicker.

Instead of kicking idle players, it puts them into spectator mode. This is meant for team balance, as an idle player does not contribute to a team's efforts.

Note: This is for TFC only. For CS, you can use this.

On the DoDPlugin boards, they have an AFK manager there. I use it on my DoD server and it works great. I know it is DoD specific, but the code used in that one might give you some insight. And again, maybe not. =)

Best would probably to convert the DoD plugin to CS, it's far more advanced than the one I wrote for TFC.

It's using dod_user_kill(), which I guess could be replaced with user_kill() or user_silentkill().

Furthermore it uses DoD specific event messages:

register_event("TextMsg","afk_teamjoin","a"," 1=3","2=#game_joined_team","4=Allies")
register_event("TextMsg","afk_specjoin","a"," 1=3","2=#game_joined_team","4=Spectators")
I guess they can be replaced with whatever event messages CS is using.

Small update. I wanted to make it so that if a player is put into a team by tfc_autoteam 1, but has *not* spawned yet, he will be put into spectator mode early (30s). This is to get balanced teams quick after a map change, it's especially crucial for AvD maps (dustbowl style). However, the event used in the original plugin for CS does not indicate a respawn correctly if tfc_autoteam is enabled. For TFC maps there is a log message used for respawning ("triggered info_player_teamspawn"), but since in TFC occasionally HLDM maps are used, I chose class selection ("role") as a pointer.

A minor update of this one year old plugin. As far as I remember there was a problem to do with the map change, this should be fixed now.

AFK KiSSS is a totoaly diffrent thing and its not as good...
