Hi.

A Note:
It would be great if you didn't make AMXX mainly for cs like AMX.
If you shall move things to the core, please do not move any modspecific to the core.

An Idea:
Instead of having plugins for admin you can move it into the core and add cvars to activate it.

A Question:
Is plugins in the core faster than plugins you load in plugins.ini?

yes, functions directly in the core are faster than plugins in plugins.ini, because the plugins in plugins.ini are interpreted.

We won't move the admin plugins to the core though because we want them to be modifiable by anyone who knows how to write scripts...

Thanks for the fast reply.

Shall you change the way modules are interpreted by AMXX?
Some modules are wery usefull and may not be changed to the new way.
One module is NS2AMX which is _wery_ usefull when you use the mod Natural Selection. Can be found at modns.org.

One more Idea:
You can make AMXX multithreaded so it do things quicker

The normal AMX has a multithreaded module but its only multithread plugins, and the plugins must be coded with multithread support

Since HLDS itself is single threaded multithreading is buggy... I don't think we will have multithreading for non-plugins anytime soon.

We will be introducing a new module API in two releases from now, so old ones cannot be interpreted. However, we will also port the NS Module for NS users.

multithreading would be hard to do and buggy, so we will better make the single threaded amxx work excellent
