Issue with hostname (server's name) changing.

Hello,
I'm trying to change my server's name (sv_hostname) and it succesed, but the issue is there is like a part that coming back every times (my server provider website).

for example, the the name of the server is, lets say, "BlahBlah [ping***.**.**]".
I'm join into the Ftp and change it to another name(Cstrike>server.txt), such as "Blehbleh".
after I'm restarting the whole server and the server-list or pressing tab while in my server still display it - I can see again "Blehbleh [ping***.**.**]".

there is any way to stop that adversite?

First thing it's not server.txt,
try edit hostname on server.cfg

You will found it in **/cstrike

Please let us know if this issue fixed.

sorry,typo - I was meaning actully to write "server.cfg".
anyways, the server provider website is always comes back no matter what I've tried.

As I said, if I change the hostname its being changed, but the server's provider website its being add to it.

Blah blah Server [ping***.**.**]
PrvSever [ping***.**.**]
etc...

Change it to read only.

I dont think its gonna help beacause even when the server provider's website is being added to the hostname, it is doesnt show on the "server.cfg" > hostname.

Restart the server..refreshing the server list, click view..and..
