L4D - Ded server continuously drops players

I finally got my dedicated server to work, I can connect, and obviously others can attempt to. So the game sees it, my pc/router notices it, yet players can't connect to it.
Now, I have my ports all forwarded up. I've tried combinations of 2700-27050 TCP and UDP, 27015-27015, etc etc etc. No matter the case, players are still dropped with the above message. I have no idea what to do. I have the server.cfg entries all set according to everything i've found off google. I'm just stuck.
Any help would be awesome. I'm so close, yet so far from just getting people in the game.
