Looks possible to me, Just looks like you would have to remove all the TF2 stock conditions like onbonked and onubered and add in left 4 dead 2 stocks instead although I'm no coder.

i tested that. it still woldnt work. if an infected would jump at a survivors head, his screen would just shake a little and he would fall to the ground. no damage caused to the survivor and no bounce back in air unfortuently. so i think it has to be rewritten but only some code needs change.

When I first saw the Mario Stomp, I realized this would be really fun to have in an RPG server. From the feedback I've received, and from doing it myself, it's really a lot of fun.

I just finished rewriting most of the goomba plugin so it works with other games/mods.
I made a quick L4D2 version but, for now:

• Survivor can also stomp infected.
• Sounds won't work unless clients use snd_rebuildaudiocache.
• It has not been tested in real game conditions.

Just download both smx files attached on my post and load them (don't forget to modify dmg cvars to what you need).

Note this is an early release of my new version of goomba plugin and some things can be broken.

thank you so much Flyflo! this is going to be fun. i will let you know how testing goes tomorrow.

btw, since l4d2 has all that trouble with not downloading custom sounds, i guess you should pick a suitable sound from l4d2 itself and just precache it and then play it - unless you find a way for clients not to type snd_rebuild ofcourse

it's working but once or twice I had a strange lag right after hitting one of the survivors head, it kinda delayed the rebounce, but other than that, well done
