Are they still in beta stage with this?
It lags a lot plus it crashes most of the cases.

Last vesrion fixed a lot of them (crashes).
But if you find a sequencing after which editor got crash — please report about it and author fix it.

When importing maps the textures are misaligned. I had to copy things over to my last backup after saving my map using Jackhammer only to realize moments later that a lot of the textures were misaligned by Jackhammer.

Overall it has some great features and I hope this bug is fixed in the next update as currently you can't work with maps you started on Sledge or Valve Hammer.

Try add WAD textures to editor before you open map source file (RMF).
Or better — restart Jackhammer after WADs adding, and then open your map.
Please, check it.

The textures do not get misaligned in the remake using the backup of the map after restarting Jackhammer. However in my old map where I saved it after the textures were misaligned they are still misaligned. But they are also misaligned if I open the map in valve hammer now, so it just saved it in that state.

Some suggestions:

- Make program update entity's "name" update when editing them on "Entity report...". I had some lights entities that had an string value on it's "name" field. When editing them, Entity Report window didn't update them.

- Don't make override of same textures names when another wad is loaded. chateau.wad had "ROPE" texture, but I wanted to search halflife.wad's one and it didn't appear.

- When browsing textures, if you see above texture name, it saids:

TEXTURENAME

SizexSize

Group: "wadpath"

"wadpath" is always the same. If you change which specific wad do you want to search that line doesn't get update

And that's all I think. It's awesome this software anyway
