I'm having issues with the install. It seems to be loading it. And it does show up in game, however if I run

meta list

Listing 6 plugins:

Update 3.0.3.Kento.25
  • New cvar "rankme_rank_cache"
  • Add 3 array to store rank cache.
  • Auto rebuild cache on map start.
  • On get client rank use cache instead of query sql.

Everyone that joins my server goes instantly to Rank 1, or shows them as Rank 1.
I'm using SQLite database

just played like 30 minutes+

server crashes, reboots, oh look ranks didn't even update, how often does it update to mysql?

do i need rankme_rank_cache 0? its set to 1

to me it sounds like, if you dont mapchange or if server crashes, all the player data during the map has been lost.

im on a deathmatch server that stays mostly on the same map all the time, so it kinda just reset hella far back. so this cache = update mysql on mapchanges? and if server restarts / exits / crashes, all the data that has been made in the current map is lost?

i've had several Deathmatch servers where it didn't update. so i guess this is the reason? atleast so i hope, should probably leave the cache default as 0 and put some more explanation of what it does. cause this confirms the deathmatch servers taht has not mapchanged for many hours as server restarts everyday, you rejoin the next day and data is lost.

This would also explain why there are so many players recorded but has 0 Points, 0 kills, well they have 1000 points aka stock, without any kills, K,D 0 etc cause they were recorded in the database but not their kills etc cause no mapchange.
so no mapchange = stats not saved to mysql.
