I am building a menu that has a lot of text in it. If there's enough, it stops outputting the later rows of the menu. It doesn't consider each individual row, just the length of the each menu page.

Is there a way to increase the limit length of the text on each menu page?

Sounds like a client side issue. If so, then no.

Well, I remember reading a discussion on this issue awhile ago, and someone offered a solution. I could not find that thread again so I was forced to ask again, but unless I am mistaken that same solution could be applied to my own.

I'm pretty sure it was as simple as setting a configuration value somewhere.

Yeah, but since VALVe's SERVER_CAN_EXECUTE change you won't be able to change much of any client side variables.

My suggestion is just to make it paged.

This limit is hardcoded on the client.

It is paged already, unfortunately - it's a music script and I right now it is printing the track title, artist and album for each line. That's a lot of text!

Okay, I will have to accept this limit and work with it. Does anyone know what exactly the limit is, how it is imposed (ie. on the just the display text or is it including a bunch of instructional data in the count as well)? If I understand the context then I could potentially test for this issue and avoid it.
