Hey everyone, i am about to make my l4d2 server go up to 12+ player but idk if i can hold tht many my upload speed is 6.56 mbs n download speed is 13.81 mbs so i am not sure but also i am on a wireless network so i am not plugged in with a wire! So can someone please tell me if i can or not?

Try and see if it works. Simply lower the maxrate on the server to super low and that will compensate for your home internet.

so should i put in the server.cfg: sv_maxrate 100?

I ran 20 versus on a 50/5 connection. No lag at all without any special settings, however this was really the max. It was always between 200 and 500 kB/s. And, not only your bandwidth is important but your connection is too. If you have a direct connection to your country's backbone it will be a lot less laggy then when players have to go across 30 hops.

Well my ping is 15m when i tested it on speedtest.net but can i hold atleast 15 players in l4d2 with 13.87/6.13 speed well download speed is 12.87 and upload speed is 6.13 without any lag?
