I've been having this really annoying bug recently, it's happened on other computers as well. So basically, im trying to a run a server from my own PC, and when I set it all up correctly, where normally, the two master server IP's should appear, they dont appear?

Being as they aren't appearing the server isn't even join-able. It says connection to steam successful, but yeah back to the point, none of the master server IP's show.

Can someone tell me why this is happening/arent appearing? And yes also, not that this is related, but I already can/am hosting a public server successfully, but id like to be able to run one from my own pc as well. :/

I take it you've opened the correct UDP port on your firewall/router?

Thanks for the reply. I'll have to double check. I should mention though, I used to host a server from my PC before, but one day when I turned on my computer, that's when the 2Ip's that were supposed to show, didn't show up. So yeah, i'll double check. Just to reassure myself, would you mind posting the correct UDP port that is supposed to be forwarded?

It depends on how the server is configured, but the default is 27015.

Valve changed their master server. I had this issue and it worked for me. add this to your server.cfg and restart the server.

setmaster add hl2master.steampowered.com
