A new Approved Plugins section would be good but the idea of an UnApprover is just Dumb as hell.

I love debugging and rewriting plugins but I would not like to be spammed with PMs. I won't look through all threads to find plugins that need fixing.
A thread with such requests would be good, but it would be hard to keep track of everything. What is done and such. Perhaps a separate site with a bugzilla-like interface would be good.

Yeah, I got the idea. There is a issue tracker for Sublime Text on GitHub, maintained by some community members:
https://github.com/SublimeTextIssues/Core

The AlliedModders GitHub organization may hard copy the `Sublime Text` issue tracker repository and perform some changes to get it ready for reporting those issues, as the ones reported by Sublime Text users:
https://github.com/SublimeTextIssues/Core/issues

The only downside about this is about some AlliedModder's users which would just to create an account on GitHub just for an issue reporting.

Ahm, i think it would be easier to pick an old plugin you want from the old approved section, tell there that you will rewrite it, and just do it, rather than over complicate things

But how do I find the ones that need rewriting?

If you see a broken plugin I would be glad to take care of it. A simple PM would do the job.
Also, why should we have a new section? We can't handle the ones we have right now. While it's true that some approved plugins are crap, keep in mind that they are 10 years old and back then coders did not have many options to do things. Things change, what we consider quality now may be considered as bullshit in 2026.
Also, reviewing big plugins properly takes a lot of time. The new section will probably stay empty forever. If we just fastly review and approve, then we'll get in the same trouble you are trying to fix now.

So:
-if you see a broken plugin, PM some active approver/moderator.
-if you find an interesting but badly coded plugin, feel free to take over it and fix things.
-if you want to help on reviewing new plugins and you have some decent knowledges, feel free to do so by posting your ideeas.

The new section will fill in time, don't worry, but it's true that we may need more approvers...
Right now the only active ones are arks and you, and i doubt arks has anytime reviewing plugins right now
I guess we will have to wait for asherkin to update the forums and the staff, as he mentioned here

https://forums.alliedmods.net/showth...=288184&page=2

Then we will see what we can do regarding this issue

Will fill in time and after 10 years someone will propose again to empty and start over because of outdated plugins.
If it makes you happy, you can send me a PM with a list of plugins you think we should remove from approved list.
