Hello. How do you set the default map on CS:S? I try with map and changelevel
but everytime I do so I get stuck at Parsing game info...
I also tried with only one map in the mapcycle.

I'd recommend looking up how to run a srcds
If anything you can put changelevel in autoexec.cfg

You can also put map directly in autoexec.cfg as it's processed before the first map change.

Not only that, but if you try to use changelevel and the server command line (which may not be under your control) doesn't include a +map command, your changelevel command just silently fails.

But if you use map in your autoexec and you already have it in the commandline and unable to change it you start to get other issues with connections. Atleast from my experience I've had issues like that when i rented a server for css.
