Ever thought that one can abuse the report button and just flood mods' emails?

If I could please get some clarification.
What would be the optimal solution for dealing with threads that do not fall under the requirements for reporting a post?

Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts.

I stopped reporting posts for being in the wrong section once I realized that it wasn't under those terms.
Didn't feel like having my snoot booped for using the report function incorrectly.

At this point I've just waited for a mod to move it, or if I can contribute, will state it should be moved while contributing to the thread.

Please stop, replying causes the author to post a duplicate thread which then causes a tonne more work when a moderator gets to the report, which means less reports can be handled.
