You should look at all the other threads that ask this question. Also, there is a stickied thread about this topic.

Ignore any other post you see on the internet about "best rates config".
They are ALL not only outdated, but overall wrong.

Here is the TRUE best rates you can use in 2018.
Tested extensively by me.

Quote:
sv_maxcmdrate 210
sv_mincmdrate 210

sv_maxrate 100000
sv_minrate 100000

sv_maxupdaterate 100
sv_minupdaterate 100

'cl_cmdrate' command = Should be equal to player fps + 10, if a player uses 100 fps, then this must be set to 110. Since there are some players (specially in surf servers) that use more than 100 fps, i recommend to use 210 as cl_cmdrate, more than that is overkill. This drastically improves smoothness of shooting and all kinds of movement/player animations. Set it to a low value and shoot to a wall, then set it to 210, the difference in huge.
sv_maxcmdrate 210
sv_mincmdrate 210

'rate' command = the more the better. Since the last big steam update, it has a 100k cap, instead of 25k~.
sv_maxrate 100000
sv_minrate 100000

Quote:
'cl_updaterate' command = Just like 'cl_cmdrate', it drastically improves smoothness of shooting and overall feel of the gameplay.
sv_maxupdaterate 100
sv_minupdaterate 100

Like i said previously, ignore any other post you see on the internet about "best rates config", and ignore people like 'ghostofmybrain' that run CS:GO servers and pretend to know more than someone that has extensively tested this commands.

First, tell me if this command even exists: sv_maxcmdrate. Then, tell me how you managed to "extensively test" these rates and not notice the "command not found" every time you run that command?

To be honest, I've been hosting CS1.6 servers for over a decade and I'm getting really really exhausted of explaining these things, especially to really rude children with whom I have no interest in ever interacting again. I just wanted to make sure the OP, who is new to the scene, didn't accidentally believe your post and make those his/her rates.

Instead of ending your post with criticism, you should begin researching on your own how to adjust the rates of a server, and educate yourself instead of running through life simultaneously expecting people to hold your hand the whole way while also shit talking the people whom you're asking to hold your hand.

EDIT: What website are you copy/pasting that from?

Oh? Well if you're going to suggest that the OP make adjustments that require some special plugin, it would be courteous to link it here, especially since it's not an alliedmodders plugin.

Its not mandatory to use that plugin.
Anyways, i already said what values should people be using in 'rate', 'cl_updaterate', 'cl_cmdrate'.
You could use my values, or use those dumb values from 2004 like all the awful 'config guides' around the internet have... your decision.
Spoiler
