Hi, im not that knowledged in sv_downloadurl but im familar with it, my sv_downloadurl works and all for everything but the models, first when you connect to the server the fast download works pretty well, until you hit to the models, once you hit the models you reconnect and your downloading the models the way steam wants you too, im pretty sure my sv_downloadurl is somewhat like this

"sv_downloadurl http://www.mysite.com/my_cstrike/"

this might be a rhetorical question but whats the problem? i trouble shooted it nearly a maximum of twenty times and yet im still not reaching any progress. Any addition help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Your models need to be in the same directory format as you have them on your server such as:

(Your Server): yourip/cstrike/models/mymodels/

Your FastDLS server: yourip/cstrike/models/mymodels.

the problem isnt installing, i already have it in, my sv_downloadurl is like this

sv_downloadurl "http://Jacky.guild.net/my_cstrike"

and i have the download formats exactly the same on my server folder, but when i download it, it acts normal by showing the fast download screen then it skims by all the models and then after that i turn to the normal steam download and i have to redownload them all.

With models it can be a tricky situation because models have to be precached and the client needs to be told he/she needs those files. For example, just because you put w_usp.mdl onto the server in the right structure does not mean the client will receive it because the server has no use for it unless it is precached in a plugin. With that being said, there are some plugins which do just that for you - they precache models so that fast d/l is activated. If the client is downloading those same files from the server instead, try hard-linking them in a specific res file such as de_dust2.res and putting a line in there saying "models/w_usp.mdl" just to see if it works when on dust2 and on fast d/l.
