Hi guys,

I asked this a while ago but i was wondering if the situation has changed, or indeed, ever will change. I was wondering if you could change the players weapon model in the same way you can change the players model. If it hasnt been done yet, is it just because nobody has coded it yet, or is it actually not possible with the source engine?

Regards,

James

I'm not sure how it's done in the SDK, but if it's just a simple call to SetModel() (which is virtual) it wouldn't be hard to add support for.

Ok, support for this would be pretty epic in terms of game modding, at least for me, since it would be vital to several mods i have always wanted to make. I would happily donate to the sourcemod coders for them to have a look at it for their next release.

File a bug report as a feature request for SDKTools and we'll see what we can do.
