We rarely use sv_cheats for a quick fun mode instead of downloading plugins and use them once every while.

Because it isn't visible to external stat-gathering tools without notify.

You can use Tidy Chat or similar to suppress the chat message.

I suppose the best way I could ask about this would be "How would I go about generating/obtaining a current list of connect methods?"

The worst way I could ask would be "Does anyone know if there are any new entries or changes to that list?"
