I have a css server, and when I set a map, a lot of people keep getting the missing maps problem. I have it in the maps folder of my server, but the error keeps occuring.

Pls help.

Custom map. 4 of them exactly. awp_lego_2b de_arabic awp_hbi and awp_bomba. Maybe more but this are the ones I saw not work.

EDIT: Another owner said this is the error that gives to the players: Host_Error: Map is missing

Sounds like you should look at setting up sv_downloadurl, so that people have somewhere to download your custom things from.

Hmm.. That's odd. It is exactly how it should be. Maybe it is because i have cl_allowdownload and upload set to 0 in my server.cfg

cl_ is client specific (player side), sv_ server specific (server side).

Adjusting e.g. sv_allowupload/sv_allowdownload in the server config won't change a thing when you have sv_downloadurl properly set up. They are only related to the transfers without sv_downloadurl.

If your client (player) has disabled downloads in the game, it doesn't really matter what you try to change, it wouldn't make a difference.

One of the players who couldn't join because of this had cl_allowdownload and upload to 0. Maybe the other one has it on 0 too. So I guess it's solved.
