Banning IP for rcon hacking attempts? gameME IP

hi,

some of my server spamming the following message.

Banning 144.76.139.104 for rcon hacking attempts
removeip: filter removed for 144.76.139.104
Writing cfg/banned_ip.cfg.

the ip is from gameme stats. the problem started 1-2 weeks ago and i never changed any configs or plugins. it happens on port 27015. two servers are online on port 27015 with different ip. no problems with the other server.

the gameme plugin is deactivated and the server still banning the gameme ip.

make sure the rcon password is correct on gameme first

What's your question?

The server is going to continue to ban the IP until you either remove the server from GameME website or you input the correct rcon password on the GameME website.

the rcon password is correct. stats and all stuff from gameme is logging. the ip gets banned and instantly auto removed. dunno why.

edit: i changed the rcon password on game to a "wrong" password and still with the wrong password it loggs all the game stuff? maymbe something is wrong with gameme not with my server?
both rcon passwords are correct = logging works + ip ban every few seconds
server rcon test, gameme password test1 = logging works + ip ban every few seconds

i have two gameme accounts and the other one works fine (has other log address) and the server is on the same dedicated server.

You can add the address with - sv_rcon_whitelist_address
So that it isn't banned.

Post your server.cfg and autoexec.cfg with spoiler and code tags.

thanks for the whitelist cvar, logging works fine now without these banned messages.

You're welcome. As long as the whitelist works, stick with it for now.
Just make sure that your log address is correct and if you use two accounts/addresses, add both.

My server was banning my hlstatsx when I changed server's password
After I changed my hlstatsx password it was still banning then I realized I had to restart hlstatsx daemon for the password to take effect
Haven't used gameme for a long time maybe there's a restart daemon option for gameme as well

And the reason it's still logging because the log is sent to gameme but just gameme won't be able to interact with the server
