Doesnt work for me
If i try !spec @me or !spec thypse i just get nothing , just for !spec its saying [SM] Usage: sm_spec <target> - Spectate a player.

You cannot spectate yourself. Also, what game are you trying this on?

Im trying it with the game Counter Strike Source.

I have the "sm_spec_players" cvar set to "1", but yet when normal players use the command it returns an error: "You cannot target this player" or something of that matter when they are trying to target a normal player (non-admin).

I'm not really seeing a reason this is that different from the Observe plugin:

This allows you to toggle on to a player until you specify otherwise, all server owners need to do is set sm_observe as a public command in admin overrides. You can also add it to a custom admin menu for admins to pick a name to avoid odd characters, so I guess if you wanted to make yours different it should toggle a menu with a list of names to the public.
