This is how to do it, but this is only if you run your own server. If you are renting your server, contact your admin at the Server Rental business and tell them to update your server as you are powerless to do so.

I'm not going there. Either you run a server via Steam or you run a dedicated server. You need to search for the appropriate update procedure or as stinkpickle said, contact your hosting company....

hi everyone!

I see there is a new DM update since the 3/1/06 Steam update broke some code.
What about SourceMM? I don't mean to be dumb about this but I was told by a clan mate that gore mod is not working since the steam update.
I thought the DM plugin required SourceMM, so did SourceMM actually break and is there an update for this that I haven't found?

There is no new DM update. The CS update did not break it. Goremod is not broken either, nor is MetaMod....The update simply overwrites the gameinfo.txt file that contains the MetaMod code mentioned above. Once you put that back, all MetaMod mods should work (DM, Gore, etc).
