You use a All4Dead version i posted then, which includes an EARLIER version of Spawn Uncommons.

The newer (a lot better) SDKHooks dependant version in this thread here does not create a menu by itself.

And no, the newer version will not be included in All4Dead unless All4Deads author decides so.

Ok, so I went to the link for the hooks, found the file for L4D2, unzipped it on my desktop, opened my FTP to my GameServers server, put the files in the same directory as listed in the .zip, installed your mod, restarted the server, and implemented that menu as well.

That all works. Nothing is weird. Menu works. When I select a horde, nothing. When I select a single special infected, I get it.

What's wrong?

edit: I have changed maps and restarted again just to make sure, and also used only the specific horde for the specific campaign in case it couldn't load it. One thing is that if I ask for a horde of Fallen Survivors I wont get a horde but just a random one will show up.

If spawning a single Uncommon works but Hordes doesnt you have SDK Hooks setup wrong.

I downloaded the L4D2 hook from the link in the OP, unzipped it onto my desktop.

Opened my FTP program and placed the files in the same folders they came in off my desktop. Rebooted server.

Was there some other command or something else I had to do?

I cant tell, really. Use "sm exts list" on the server to make sure SDK Hooks is listed as running.

For everything else consult the SDK Hooks thread.

Yeah, I did the sm exts list and I don't see any mention of Source Hooks, or even Hooks in general.

I hate those people who don't do their homework and as such have already read every single page of the forum. There isn't installation instructions on any page, and Googling doesn't bring up anything except the thread.

It's no biggie if I can't get it to work, I'd just like to make a horde of special uncommon
