Your installation of SMAC needs to be updated.

I would suggest installing automatic updater while you're at it.

can u be more specific as that your installation needs to be updated is this the main smac or the convar one

It's usually not a good idea to mix and match versions. I'd advise keeping all of the modules up-to-date. In this particular case though, updating smac_cvars should be sufficient.

had the same problem earlier today (temporary ban from my own server).
I updated to all the latest SMAC (0.8.4.1) from the "SMAC download thread" and the issue went away.
