public ip address for listen server?

is it possible to set cs to show public ip address as your server under the "view game info" in steam, if you're running a listen server?

i tried launching cs with parameter "+ip my.public.ip.address", this made the steam show right ip address, but i got these errors:
WARNING: UDP_OpenSocket: port: 27015 bind: WSAEADDRNOTAVAI
when i ran the listen server and players could'nt join the game

i tried redirecting my public ip to my local ip in Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file without any success

If you are behind a router, you have to bind the server to your internal IP and then port forward on your router

so its impossbile to create a listen server that shows your public ip address in steam when using a router?

I never said that. The server will report your internal IP and then you just need to enable port forarding on your router

thats my problem, i dont want the server report my internal ip, i want it to report my external ip and ive forwarded the ports long time ago

Then that is not possible. Steam can only bind to an IP that is has direct access to
