please recommend which OS is best for me for running HLDS.
I want the windows based plattform.
Because my HLDS files is for windows.

If you want windows platform go with winXP. WinXP handles everything perfect!

actually i dont know about linux.
if i use linux, tat means i need redownload the linux based hlds?
and i need to reinstall the amxmodx files?

If I'm right, the binaries are optimized for windows but I guess under linux it will be provided a more stable environnement.
