I doubt this is possible as i guess its buried deeper in engine and not accesible from a plugin

But if anyone can up the max slots from 32 that would be nice.

Realise all the Stock maps are 32 spawn points but all i really could do with is 33 slots, 32 slots for players and another slot for running Source TV

I thought Source engine can manage 64 players ?

If officials maps can't handle more than 32 players, its all Here, you can't.

I'm trying to imagine a game on dod_avalanche with 64 slots full,
quite funny when camping with a machine gun

What you mean ?

You can play on 32 slots maps, even on a 64 slots server ...

Players will randomly not spawn at round start, or die directly ...

no doesnt work im afraid , maxes out at 32 no matter what you put ..

CSS can goto 64 i believe, but Dod:s stops at 32

I'm with quint on this, not requiring 64 slots, but the ability to have perhaps 2 extra slots would let us have 1 slot for hltv and a second one would be great to have as a joining slot for a reserved slot system.

I 'think' these settings are hard coded into the source engine and not possible.

If you want that many players, the best thing to do is go with 2 less.. have +maxplayers 31 in the command line (1 extra for SourceTV) and add sv_visiblemaxplayers 30 to your server.cfg

thats no go really which is why i posted, have a very busy server and part of that is because we run 32 slots , (can take a while to join), 30 slots would take away a bit of that popularity

anyways thanks for taking the time to answer, its a nice to have rather than an essential requirement, so 32 slots still wins this one

I can probably create a plugin to do this, leave it with me till the weekend and ill report back.
