I'm finally back to school! That means less parties and more procrastination and work on projects.

Gorme is far cry from alpha version, but I released the source anyway:

Feel free to fork it. The project is in a state in which it was at the time of the latest video (vmf import).

It's unplayable, but I if you are interested in some of the technology I used, I highly recommend you to take a look at:

> Calling entities' methods through VScript (vscript_fun.cpp + some essencials in extension.cpp)

> Ingame resource downloading and precaching (downloader.cpp) - if you are about to use this trick, there are some pitfalls I should warn you about

> "tmpbrush": Using triangle models to build every possible shape in game (tmpbrush.cpp + model sources in models/triangle.*)

> Using physics engine to convert between convex set of points, set of planes, etc to avoid dealing with nasty algebra (also tmpbrush.cpp)

> Looking through the files I also found entfilter.cpp which is unused in the current project and I forgot what is was for, but it looks like it can filter entites so you can make server-only entities and if you'd modify it you could make entities that'd be sent only to certain players (this was probably made to hide the pink "tmpbrush" for other players in the future)

Feel free to rip these features and use them in your projects, but give credz plz

I've now ripped out the vscript function calling code and created an entire extension from it:

I might recycle some other interesting parts of this project the same way as well.
