the plugin is ultra great, but everyone was annoyed by L1, L2, so I had to remove it, please will my idea be implemented soon? I need to set names for known IP-s

Brad I've been using this plugin for a while and it works fine--except every single person get's their name multiplied into L1 L1 L1 L1 instead of putting it before their name. It's been doing this to every single person who comes in on the same IP, instead of putting just one L1: before their name. I like knowing when people are on the same IP so I can put them on the same team so they can't ghost (I restrict spectating) but they hate playing when their name is L1 L1 L1 across the board.

If you have time or plan on fixing this little bug that would be great. If not I'll survive--but it would be nice to have it fixed.

It's fixed in the unreleased version. However, I was smooth enough to introduce a new bug or two in it that I'm trying to work out before I release it.

I stumbled over my old Post in this Thread - i'll try to explain it.

Players are still able to change their name to L1+L2 - but they rename themself - they are not on the same subnet like the 'real' L1's+L2's.

Could you check for ppl claiming to be on the same Subnet then the other Lan-Players - and rename them to their old name?

Really? I could swear that the current version already checks for that. Try prepending "L1:" to your name, while in-game. It should prevent you from doing so.

As of this post, I am discontinuing support for this plugin.

If anyone would like to take over support for it, please let me know.

The reason I am discontinuing support is because I no longer will be using the plugin myself. It's original intent was to indicate which players were more likely to be ghosting. However, with the advent of Steam's in-game Friends chat, non-LAN players are just as likely to be ghosting as those on a LANN.
