hl2 deathmatch

my client updated (radical)
but non of my servers say they need updating!

but trying to connect gives server out of date message.

been the same for a couple of hours

anyone know it was coming?

You need to use SteamCMD to update your servers now

They sent an email out today:

The HL2

M SteamPipe conversion has occurred.

Clients will undergo a one-time conversion process the next time they launch the game.

The steampipe client beta has ended; that version of the game is now the release version.

Any HLDSUpdateTool servers are now out of date and can be put out to pasture.

I was going to ask the same question. Does the new SteamPipe malarky not use an addons directory anymore?

I wasn't able to get SM working with the new HL2DM Steam Pipe either, any ideas ?

Upgrade to a snapshot of Metamod 1.10 and SourceMod 1.5.
If, upon starting the HL2DM dedicated server and loading a map, the command meta works but the command sm doesn't, put addons/sourcemod/bin/sourcemod_mm at the end of addons/metamod/metaplugins.ini.
If the server crashes and you suspect a plugin, try using my beta gamedata. (This problem should be fixed within the next 12 hours.)

Fixed now, i installed the latest snapshot of MM:S and SM 1.6, stupid update seems to have broken some plugins.

I recommend using SourceMod 1.5 for anything except DOTA2.
