I am proud to announce that alpha testing has begun on WowMOD for CS 1.6, the server is located at 204.209.44.14 port 27015

Here is some info from the website, located at http://www.cswowmod.com/ :

* 80 player levels
* Race and Class-based gameplay with many of the races and character classes (professions) available from World of Warcraft. Players will be able to choose an initial primary class and later on a secondary class.
* Races currently available: Nightelf, Gnome, Dwarf, Human, Orc, Tauren, Undead, Bloodelf
* Classes currently available: Druid, Hunter, Mage, Rogue, Priest, Warlock
* Racial traits which distinguish each race from the others
* Each class has 8 trainable spells, each with numerous spell upgrades available
* A unique racial ability for each race: Shadow Meld, Escape Artist, Stoneform, Perception, Berzerk, War Stomp, Cannibalize, Mana Tap
* Attributes that affect gameplay and can be modified by gear: Strength, Agility, Stamina, Intellect, Spirit, Armor, Mana Pool
* Proficiencies that affect spell success and can be modified by gear: Melee, Marksman, Arcane, Fire, Frost, Shadow, Nature, Holy
* A separate currency system outside of CS money which will allow players to purchase items without taking their cash away needed for guns and armor.
* A merchant for purchasing magical items such as rings and necklaces which can be used to boost stats or provide additional abilities.
* An armourer for having special armor sets crafted, ultimately there will be 10 tiers of armor ranging from 4 levels of common to 6 levels of epic gear.
* Stored inventory system and worn equipment system, the items you purchase and armor you have crafted can be kept, up to 100 pieces of gear stored for you.


WowMOD is being built by the original UWC3 team and we are trying our best to make this new mod as fun as can be for fans of CS and World of Warcraft.
