Hello everybody, i have a zombie escape server.
It's a 50 slot(always at 50/50) server.
Now i am having some issues with it recently.
On some maps it has these lag spikes, lerp goes to yellow.etc
I have a NFO dedicated machine.
Here are the specs:
Processor: Intel xeon e3-1270 @ 3.4 ghz
Ram: 8 gb
Connection: 1 gbit
Operating System: Linux(Gentoo)
Priority: Normal(may set it to high in the future)

I gave all the possible information i could give you.
Basically we are having problems at this map at the teleport part. We toggled every command on it, all the other servers run fine on it(tested it) and they have the same commands settings as us.
I set:

This sounds like the CPU-usage is spiking to 100% for the logic processing thread. Does this occur when the server is full or even when it's empty?

What this mean ?

If same map cause lag why you not just get rid of it ?

That map ze_stargate_escape_v8:
There is trigger_push in "worm hole" when players get in teleport.
It push players with huge force, this (could) take much server performance.

There is truck what drive a short distance along path_tracks.
This also could cause lag in multiplayer.

+ Few huge open areas...

I know less about rates then some people but I noticed this

That seems a bit high for a min rate? Or please educate me And your cmd/updaterates are only max 34. Is it a 33 tick server?

yes that sv_minrate of 75000 is very high.
try sv_minrate 13000
sv_maxrate 20000

Also I find this setting a bit odd
net_splitpacket_maxrate 201000

Okay i tested it with windows and it didn't lag(tested on another vps nfo gave us for a trial).
Testing it with centos soon.
Basically:
Low amt of players go in tunnel=No Lag

High amount of players in tunnel=LAG

High amount of bots go in tunnel-No Lag

High amount of bots + 1 player=LAG

Is there a command or something like that only for gentoo that could fix this?
I really want to try to get it to work with Gentoo.
I am on NFO's managed with Gentoo but i don't know if i can fix it somehow.

EDIT:
Yesterday i spent 6 hours straight trying to fix it.
Disabled all the plugins, updated sourcemod/metamod, turned logging on/off, tested other operating systems.etc
I am making a video of the lag now, it would be easier to see what's happening ingame with a video.
