Hey guys
When people log in my server, if they don't have the current map or any other model they don't have it doesn't let them connect saying "Cannot continue without model.... [THE MODEL]"

for example, I tried to remove my jail_xmf.bsp map and connected the server, it said: "Cannot continue without the model maps/jail_xmf.bsp" instead of downloading it.

In order to fix that issue I tried to write the following in server.cfg file:

sv_allowdownload 1
sv_allowupload 1
sv_allowdownload_ingame 1

Still the issue appears and I can not download models if missing.
How can I fix that issue? People aint playing at my server just cause of that.

That's the player's fault because they have "cl_allowdownload 0" which disables downloading of required files from the server... therefore, it can't continue.

Tell them to set cl_allowdownload to 1.

btw its not true what you're claiming, I have cl_allowdownload on 1 and i cant download still. I figured out the solution, thanks anyways.

For the ones wondering what was the solution, I have a FastDL, and not all the files were uploaded on the server, so now im gonna upload all the server files and it can download it from there.

However, if it is not in the FastDL folder, then it will automatically download from the server itself. So not sure how that fixed it.

yeah idk, something wierd. something is probably blocking it from downloading from the server, so FAstDL would be an alternative. if you know what could block it let me know

but he can set cl_allowdownload 0, in server.cfg or amxx.cfg then that will fixed no?

cl_allowdownload is a client cvar, the player should set that in config.cfg, but with 1 not 0. 0 means to don't allow a download.
For server: sv_allowdownload and sv_allowupload.

I am having the same issue, however all the map files are uploaded to the FastDL server. I have no idea what is going on.

All files precache but when it comes to the maps, they don't download from FastDL, sv_allowdowload "1" works, but this causes the client to download the map from the server instead of FastDL.

Cannot continue without model maps/cs_jungle.bsp, disconnected. Can anyone please help me?
