Hello.
Today I'm going to show you the easiest method to remove the T models from player's skins. Let's begin:
Original post: [HOWTO] Delete the modelT.mdl.
NOTE: It is using an older version of compilers, so you need to download the archive below because it supports large skins (>4 mb).
Download: MediaFire
Steps:
1. Enter in the "Decompiler" folder.
2. Notice all the 4 files:
Code:
mdldec.exe
studiomdl.exe
crysis_red.mdl
crysis_redT.mdl
File named "mdldec.exe" is the decompiler and file named "studiomdl.exe" is the compiler.
3. Place the file "crysis_red.mdl" in "mdldec.exe" (we will decompile it). There will be a lot of files.
4. Delete the files "crysis_red.mdl" and "crysis_redT.mdl".
5. We are looking for the .qc file which will have same name as the skin, in this case, we are looking for "crysis_red.qc". We will open it with Notepad.
6. Key step, every T model skin will ever have the next code:
You will looking for this code, delete it and then save and exit.
7. Place the file "crysis_red.qc" in "studiomdl.exe" and waiting the compiling process.
8. Enjoy, the skin without T model is ready.
NOTE: After you finish the removing T model process, the skin will have a large size.
