The ent classes at least are created through entityfactorydictionary, called by cbaseentity::create, referenced by their entity name [LINK_ENTITY_TO_CLASS]. I got the sig for entityfactorydictionary (it was in my sig post), so you can 'properly' add your own ents or override ents with that.
