my admin seems to have stopped working on all servers after restarting them, it was working fine for the longest time and I am not getting any errors in the logs.

Admins.cfg is being populated with player and group info but when in game it says they dont have access to the admin command. If I put admins in the admin_simple.ini the admin menu works.

Is anyone else having this problem?

My admins have been saying that their admin sometimes disappears randomly, didn't happen until after the recent updates as well. So I'm not sure how to handle that one.

@ daleGEND: Try rcon sm_rehash in those cases. Lot's of people seems to have this issue, but i can't think of, why.

@ tejeskifly: No, that would reverse the intent of sourcebans to ban across multiple servers. Just use the default plugins to achieve that.

This generally means that there is something wrong with the 'xxxxxxxx' user's permissions. If you set the user up manually, then remember to issue 'flush permissions;', or mysql won't realize there is a new user. You should also make sure that there is a user@host entry that matches the host of the web server... If the database is on the same machine as the web server, then the 'localhost' deal should work.

In my experience, doing anything with users involves large amounts of cursing and pulling out hair.

Finding this 'flush permissions' is gonna be the pulling out hair part.

I tried looking for any permissions option and I ended up deleting all my freakin databases!!!! hahaha

3 hours later after fixing everything I screwed up in 5 seconds I still cannot find a fix to this problem. Not sure if I'm looking for the right thing...

Can you give me a little more information on where I can find it?
