"cannot connect to server" with custom maps

I have a counter strike 1.6 server and there a few peope that can not connect whenever we go to custom maps. the get the message "cannot connect to server"
his did not used to be a problem but started recently. i didnt make any changes. any ideas?

did you update your server with steamCMD ?
