Its embarrassing that i have so much Experience with srcds, but fail to set a proper Gamemodes file :C

The Problem is simple, the Server seems to load the "gamemodes_server" File but also executes other Commands/Config Files.

I can see that the Server also loads the default Gamemods File by this:
Code:
GameTypes: missing mapgroupsSP entry for game type/mode (custom/custom).
GameTypes: missing mapgroupsSP entry for game type/mode (cooperative/cooperative).
GameTypes: missing mapgroupsSP entry for game type/mode (cooperative/coopmission).
I would simply replace the default gamemodes file but this causes map load bugs

Loading Server with +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_deathrun

Ma config:

so what are you actually trying to do... what is the problem here... if you read the csgo wiki it tells about all those files and the order they are execd... you do NOT edit the gamemodes file you edit the gamemodes_server file... the one that ships with the game, its brackets are missmatched (last I knew). I avoid mapgroups and the gamemodes_server file altogether by using the workshop...

I just wonder why gamemodes_server isent executed in any way. (i wish dose old days back where you set everything with cvars in the server.cfg)

Using a workshop rotation is no solution for me, i just like to disable all that gamemodes crap of csgo - Source 2013 FTW

gamemodes_server IS execd after gamemodes file. gamemodes is a big part of csgo it's not going away.. you should understand the order of exec that is probably your problem.. put your settings from deathrun.cfg into a file called gamemode_competitive_server.cfg - have you read about this file?

Of course i did, i renamed it as a workaround so the configuration in my server.cfg dos not get overriten.
But the Problem is that i cant set the maxplayers, either with -maxplayers_override or the gamemodes_server. Its strange, isent it since the cmd line option should override it.

So my current workaround is that i renamed gamemode_competitive_server
