It has happened!

Since the recent Steam update earlier this week, a few natives in the cstrike module don't work anymore. Any plugins using these natives will not work as expected.
They are: cs_get_user_deaths, cs_set_user_bpammo and cs_get_user_bpammo.

This is a problem that we have expected to arise at some point with some Steam updates, but that never happened until now.

The fix for this is very easy but still has to be done. We will bring you a new set of cstrike builds for Windows and Linux shortly - watch this space. This problem obviously shouldn't affect WON servers.

New STEAM update also makes C-D useless.

Function which use/hack private data may not work after (hl,cs ,dod etc.) update. We all know about it. It has nothing to do with amxx core. AMXX should work fine.

VAVLe should be more concerned about HL2 working, then fixing CS.

maybe instead of releasing updates they should prepare for the HL2 release by GETTING MORE SERVERS up and running, i know they are getting more bandwidth, BUT THEY NEED MORE SERVERS aswell, sorry for the caps, but sometimes stupid things piss me off, does this company even know what it's doing anymore?

my off-topic post was spur of the moment, dont flame me for not putting it in the proper forum... can i hate what steam is doing to HL & Mods off it (some of the updates anyways). yes.

Valve has every right to change the offsets, after all they were found by playing around/peeking at memory, it's hackwork...
