I've read several, each time, diffrent answers about csgo listen servers being able and not able to load sm.

I've tried this myself + by running csgo in insecure mode but still nothing, i have installed metamod and sourcemod into my common/counterstrike-global offensive/csgo/addons directory.

I know it is possible to make sourcemod run on listen servers as i have seen it by some1 else not so long ago (he was on gun range to test his plugin).

Really need to get this working as i'm limited by network atm

you should talk to that "some1 else" then, because Sourcemod is for dedicated servers. It is not intended to work with the games listen server... you can download and install the dedicated server locally however.

my whole purpose was to be able to test my plugins without being connected to internet, can i use a dedicated to run locally aswell?

-LoadPluginsForClient; I assume this is a console command?

Dedicated Servers can run in LAN mode if you set sv_lan 1.

Hi, I tried the -LoadPluginsForClient and it does something, but... I don't know what exactly.
Anyway if you installed MMS and SM properly, you then just need to add -insecure to your csgo cmd line to have your listen server working.
But it's a pain in the neck, I can't even join via a lobby and then force the map command to have friends with me. And I think I can't invite anyone. Cuz it's -insecure.
Listen servers are not made to go with friends on it, but it does work for you to test Sourcemod. Though there is this little "client 0" bug for some plugins.
